NTT Groups’ Dual Anniversary Gala: A Night of Innovation and Diplomacy
Celebrating Milestones On April 29, 2024, NTT Groups commemorated two significant milestones: 33 years of global operations and 16 years of influential presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The celebration, hosted at Riyadh’s Holiday Inn, was a testament to the company’s enduring legacy and its commitment to innovation and excellence.
A Gathering of Esteemed Guests The event was attended by an elite group of international diplomats, prominent business heads, and community leaders. The gathering was a reflection of NTT Groups’ extensive network and the high regard in which it is held on the global stage.
Honoring a Young Visionary The spotlight of the evening was on Master Nuaym, the young CEO who has made remarkable strides in artificial intelligence and robotics. His work, which includes a robotic-based corporate security system and an AI-powered service for ad campaigns, has been recognized as a significant contribution to the field.
Ambassadorial Acclaim Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan, the Ambassador of India to Saudi Arabia, praised Master Nuaym’s achievements, expressing confidence in the bright future of India led by such promising youth. He also highlighted the deep-rooted relationship between India and Saudi Arabia, which has been bolstered by the leadership of Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A Journey Through Time Dr. Mohammed Ashraf Ali, Director of World Business Group, delivered the welcome address, taking the audience through the evolution of WBG and NTT Groups with vivid video presentations. He extended his gratitude to the dignitaries present, representing over 19 countries.
Master Nuaym’s Moment Master Nuaym, son of Engr. Mohammed Shakil, one of the youngest CEOs in the field, was honored for his pioneering venture, VVG (Vivid Verse Global), which he started at just 13 years old. As a student at Cambridge School, Mumbai, he has already made significant contributions to AI and robotics, earning him a memento from the Indian Ambassador on behalf of WBG and NTT Groups.
Tribute to a Distinguished Visitor The event also paid homage to Zafar Sareshwala, former Chancellor of Maulana Azad Urdu University, Hyderabad, who was visiting the Kingdom. Ambassador Khan presented him with a floral bouquet as a gesture of respect.
Reflecting on NTT’s Journey Engr. Mohammed Shakil, CEO of NTT Groups and Vice President of WBG, recounted the 16-year journey of NTT Groups in Saudi Arabia. He emphasized the company’s synergy with Saudi Vision 2030 and its collaborative ventures with Saudi business houses. He also encouraged the adoption of cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies.
Celebratory Acts The evening’s festivities included a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony by Ambassador Khan to mark WBG’s 16th anniversary. This was followed by a group photo session and a vote of thanks by Engr. Shakil, who expressed his appreciation to the dignitaries, community leaders, and media personnel.
Gratitude and Gifts The gala concluded with Engr. Shakil presenting certificates of appreciation to the delegates and the distribution of gift hampers to all attendees, a fitting end to a night of celebration and camaraderie.
